Blue Insurance has once again been recognised as a leader in Ireland’s travel protection sector, securing the Travel Insurance Provider of the Year award at the 2026 Irish Travel Industry Awards, returning to the podium after eleven wins in a row up to 2024
The accolade, presented at the gala ceremony in Dublin’s Mansion House and organised by the Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA) in association with MSC Cruises, saw Blue Insurance triumph over finalists including Accident & General.

Additional covers like travel disruption, flight cancellation, and gadget protection appeal to modern travellers. For clients with pre-existing conditions, a medical screening line assists in tailoring premiums, while private health insurance holders often qualify for discounts or simplified declarations.
