Loveholidays reveals where are the BIGGEST increases in 2026 holiday destination bookings

Online travel agent loveholidays has analysed recent bookings and identified emerging destinations for Irish holidaymakers in 2026.

  • Edinburgh led with a 75pc year-on-year increase in bookings for city breaks.
  • London saw a 48pc rise in bookings compared to the previous year.
  • Prague and Budapest recorded 48pc and 41pc increases respectively.
  • Greek islands Crete and Rhodes showed 63p and 54pc growth in bookings.
  • Further afield Dubai achieved a 53pc uplift and New York 30pc.

Edinburgh is the standout performer, but the growth across London, Prague, and Dubai also indicate that Irish holidaymakers are broadening their horizons, seeking more than just relaxation.”
