Marine Life Aquarium reopens in Bray

Marine Life Aquarium has opened in Bray on Ireland’s eastern seaboard two years after Sea Life closed in December 2023.

The facility showcased native marine life including sturgeon piranhas cownose rays blacktip sharks and clownfish.

Exhibits featured reptiles such as snakes lizards frogs and spiders alongside a dedicated butterfly garden. Tickets priced at €16.50 for adults and €11.50 per child with bookings available at marinelifebray.ie.

The aquarium created 20 jobs in marine biology guest services operations education and hospitality.

Jennifer Whitmore shared “After the loss of the Sea Life Centre in 2023, it’s incredibly heartening to see this building being brought back to life in a way that is even more engaging and family friendly.”
