MSC Cruises revealed at Fitur 2026 that it plans to make more than 600 stops at Spanish ports throughout the year, marking a significant expansion in its Mediterranean operations.
This includes increased itineraries to destinations like Barcelona, Valencia, and Málaga, boosting local economies through heightened passenger spending and job creation in hospitality. The announcement, timed ahead of FITUR 2026, underscores Spain’s appeal as a cruise hub, with the company emphasising sustainable practices such as reduced emissions to align with environmental regulations.
