MSC Cruises is enhancing its children and family programme for the summer 2024 sailing season with new onboard services and activities, including a care service for babies as young as six months old, in collaboration with Chicco, and extended club hours for children aged 12 to 17 on sea days.
New family game shows, “World Quest” and “Caravaggio,” have been introduced as part of the entertainment offerings on board.
Parents can now book a daily time when all kids’ club areas are open to spend time with their children, and large family parties are available during a cruise.
Activities onboard include Guinness World Record events on specific MSC ships, children’s activities focused on sustainability through collaboration with the MSC Foundation and its partners, and dedicated time each day for environmental topics.
Matteo Mancini, corporate senior manager of kids entertainment, added: “we host more than 600,000 children and teenagers across our entire fleet every year, and we want to make sure every single one of them disembarks having had the best experience. That’s why it’s so important for us to continually listen to their feedback and follow entertainment trends. Music, game shows, digital innovation and trained youth staff are the pillars we turned into reality.”
