The MSC World America completed its second set of sea trials and returned to St. Nazaire, France, with delivery to MSC Cruises scheduled for late March 2025.

After initial sea trials in December 2024, the vessel conducted further tests starting on January 18, 2025, evaluating systems related to maneuverability, speed, and safety.

As the second ship in the World Class series, the MSC World America will enter service in April 2025, making its inaugural sailing from Miami on April 12 with no guests on board during its Atlantic crossing.

The ship is designed to accommodate 5,400 guests and will offer year-round seven-night cruises to popular destinations in the Caribbean and the Bahamas, including Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico.
