Norwegian Cruise Line has adjusted Norwegian Gem’s itinerary for the 12-night Eastern Caribbean and Bahamas cruise departing Jacksonville on 20 January 2026. The change shortens the Great Stirrup Cay visit for better guest experience. Arrival moves to 7:00 a.m. from 8:00 a.m., departure to 3:00 p.m. from 5:00 p.m. The adjustment applies to the 22 January stop at the private island. Remainder of ports remain unchanged. The ship arrives earlier and departs sooner at Great Stirrup Cay.

Norwegian Gem is operating its first Jacksonville season through early April with four- to 12-night cruises. The vessel measures 93,000 tons. The iItinerary includes Puerto Plata, Tortola, Philipsburg, Basseterre, Charlotte Amalie, and San Juan.

Norwegian shared in a written statement “As part of our commitment to delivering a seamless experience, we’ve made an adjustment to the itinerary. While we are always working to bring your dream vacation to life, there are times when a slight adjustment helps ensure a more efficient operation, resulting in the best overall guest experience. This change allows all guests visiting our recently enhanced private island on Jan. 22, 2026, to enjoy a smoother, more relaxed and enjoyable day ashore.”
