Management firm Hume Street Management Consultants, owned by Patrick McKillen Sr, has made a provision of €25m for management fee contracts that are the subject of legal proceedings.
The company recorded a loss of €1.65m in 2022 and is engaged in ongoing legal proceedings in France, England, and the US, some of which are confidential.
The legal disputes involve Mr. McKillen’s claim for billions of pounds in profits from the Qatari owners of the Maybourne luxury hotel group.
Hume Street’s dividend payout, combined with the post-tax loss, reduced accumulated losses and Mr. McKillen has agreed to provide continued financial support to meet liabilities.
