Paladar on Bridge Street in Cork city, recognised for its Latin American-inspired cocktail bar and restaurant. won the top prize at the Irish Bar of the Year Awards 2024 held in Dublin for the second year in succession,
The Cork bar was also awarded Gold for “Outstanding Customer Service” and “Cocktail Bar of the Year” in addition to being named the overall winner.
Other winners included The Cocktail Bar at The Merchant Hotel in Co. Antrim for “Five Star Hotel Bar of the Year” and Pig’s Lane in Co. Kerry for “Innovative Bar of the Year.”
Categories were recognised at the awards, including Best Designed Bar (K Sixty Seven, County Dublin), Gastro Bar ( Dew Drop Inn, Kill, County Kildare, Gin Bar of the Year ( Andy’s Bar, County Monaghan), Hotel Bar (Merchant Hotel, Belfast), and Late Bar/Nightclub of the Year (Crane Lane Theatre, Cork).
