The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has granted interim authorisation to Qantas and American Airlines to continue their transpacific joint business.

The decision allows the airlines to maintain coordination of schedules capacity and revenues. The partnership covers services between Australia New Zealand and North America centred on connectivity via Dallas Fort Worth and other US gateways.
