Radisson Blu Royal in Dublin city centre experienced strong performance last year due to a €16m expansion investment by the Galway-based Rhatigan Group. Pre-tax profits at Luxor Leisure Ltd, part of the Rhatigan Group, increased by 16.5pc to €2.49m in the year to October.
Revenues at Radisson Blu Royal surged by 40pc from €14.46 million to €20.09 million for the year following the extension of the property from a 150-bedroom to a 254-bedroom hotel, which included additional facilities like a spa and gym.
The upgraded ground floor, including the lobby, bar, and restaurant, further enhanced the property’s offerings. The Dublin Royal Convention Centre on Ship Street Great, opened in early 2023, is also part of the Group’s business.
The Rhatigan Group is at an advanced stage of completing the new Radisson RED Hotel in Galway, with a planned investment of over €40 million. The expansion in the hotel sector reflects the Group’s continued growth and positive financial performance.
