
A study by Tonybet turned up some surprise results when it analysed Tripadvisor reviews to determine Ireland’s most popular tourist destinations based on the percentage of ‘excellent’ reviews.
The Kilkee Cliff Walk in County Clare was ranked as the top-rated place with 91.8pc ‘excellent’ reviews, offering stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean.
A surprise second place is the Leprechaun and Fairy Underground Cavern in Carlingford with Gougane Barra Church in County Cork, Ringfinnan Garden of Remembrance in Kinsale, Downpatrick Head in Ballycastle county Mayo, Eask Tower in Dingle, Victor’s Way in County Wicklow, Youghal Clock Gate Tower and Horn Head Loop in County Donegal achieving top ten places.
