Tourism Ireland is attending the BMW International Open to attract German golf enthusiasts.
The event takes place at Golfclub München Eichenried, a key venue in Munich.
Irish golf operators like Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort are promoting Ireland’s offerings.
The tournament serves as a platform to encourage visits to Ireland for golf.
Upcoming golf events include The Open at Royal Portrush, the Irish Open at The K Club, and the Ryder Cup at Adare Manor.
Nadine Lehmann of Tourism Ireland shared: “Tourism Ireland is reminding German golfers that The Open returns to Royal Portrush this month. This weekend, three golf and tourism operators from Ireland, including Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort, EI Travel Group and Green Golf Ball, are joining Tourism Ireland at the tournament. Our presence at this year’s BMW International Open is an excellent opportunity to remind German golfers that Ireland offers some of the very best golf in the world, as well as spectacular scenery and fantastic visitor experiences. Golf is the world’s largest sports-related travel market and Tourism Ireland is working hard to drive home the message that a golfing holiday in Ireland is about much more than a round of 18 holes – the combination of our world-class golf and our unique brand of hospitality plays a key role in attracting German golfers.”
