TUI Cruises’ Mein Schiff 7 has completed sea trials in the Baltic Sea. The sea trials took place from May 19 to 24, 2024, with Meyer Turku’s nautical crew and experts onboard to monitor the ship’s performance
TUI Cruises had previously received newbuilds from Meyer Turku annually from 2014 to 2019, with Mein Schiff 7 being the final ship in this series. The next two newbuilds will come from the Fincantieri shipyard in 2025 and 2026.
Captain Jan Fortun and colleague Omar Caruana feature in a video released by the cruise line, with Caruana set to become the first captain of Mein Schiff 7 upon its launch later in the month.
