TV series “Golfing the World” featured Derry and Donegal in a special episode titled “Golfing the World: Derry City,” supported by Tourism Ireland and aired on NBC Sports Boston, reaching viewers across the United States.
Presenter Hannah Leiner explored top golf courses in the region, such as Royal Portrush, and undertook guided tours of Derry, including experiencing the City of Derry Jazz Festival.
Using Derry as a base, Leiner also visited golf courses in Donegal, like North West Golf Club, Portsalon, and Ballyliffin, showcasing the diverse golfing and visitor experiences available in the area.
