Union members at Bus Éireann approved a new pay deal effective from January 2025. The deal includes a 3.5pc pay rise followed by an additional 3.25% increase in 2026.
A one-off payment of a €500 voucher will be provided this year as part of the agreement.
The trade union group represents NBRU, SIPTU, Connect, Unite, and TSSA involved in negotiations.
SIPTU remarked on the lengthy negotiation process to secure this agreement benefiting transport workers.
John Murphy shared “one of the essential services provided by Bus Éireann workers. This deal came after several months of negotiations with management. This is a good deal for transport workers who provide a vital service to communities across the country.”
