Dublin City Council is hosting the St. Anne’s Park Rose Festival on Saturday 18 July and Sunday 19 July 2026, from 10am to 6pm. The free festival is set against the backdrop of the Rose Garden, now in its fifty-first year. The event includes live music, children’s entertainment, climbing activities, arts and crafts, environmental exhibits and fitness sessions.
The Biodiversity Village will feature organisations including Eco-UNESCO, Clean Coasts, Kildare Wildlife Trust, Irish Wildlife Trust and Seal Rescue Ireland. The festival will offer free Yoga and Tai Chi sessions, a climbing wall, axe throwing, and visits from the Dublin City Council Library Bus. A managed bicycle parking facility will operate at Mount Prospect Avenue, supervised by the Dublin Cycling Campaign.
The festival has accessible pathways, toilet facilities and designated accessible parking. All car parking at the event is cashless and must be paid for digitally. The festival coincides with the peak blooming season of the Rose Garden, allowing visitors to experience thousands of roses in full flower.
Daryl Barron Lord Mayor of Dublin shared, “The festival highlights the beauty of St. Anne’s Park while bringing people together to enjoy nature, music, biodiversity and community spirit.”
