The Comeraghs Wild Festival continues over the weekend, celebrating nature, heritage, and creativity in the Comeragh Mountains. Festival highlights include a one-man play by Seamus O’Rourke, storytelling at Portlaw Heritage Centre, and a Creative Children’s Summer Camp in Crough Wood.

Each day features various activities including guided hikes, wellness sessions, and traditional music events, culminating in a performance by Gina and The Champions.

The festival’s theme, “Nostalgias,” aims to bring together stories, landscapes, and cultural heritage through diverse events. Tickets for the festival start at €5, with multiple free events available throughout the four days.

Comeraghs Wild Festival shared: “The Comeraghs Wild Festival is a heartfelt celebration of who we are—our stories, landscapes, and sense of place. We warmly invite locals and visitors alike to join us in celebrating the Wilds of Waterford, come walk with us, laugh with us, and lose yourself in the magic of the mountains.”
