Tralee and Dingle light railway future assessment underway

0

A consultancy firm has been appointed to assess the future viability of the Tralee and Dingle Light Railway at Blennerville.

The rail line operated briefly as a tourist attraction until the late 1990s. The line carries passengers from Blennerville station to Ballyard near Tralee town. Renewed efforts focus on determining ongoing potential for the unique Kerry railway. The assessment examines options for preservation or development.
