Ryanair has welcomed a Dublin District Court verdict convicting a disruptive passenger from flight FR5325, which operated from Kosice to Dublin on 8 September 2024.
The convicted passenger received a three-month suspended sentence and was fined €500 for offensive behaviour and €650 for being intoxicated on board the aircraft.
The airline maintains a strict zero tolerance policy against passenger misconduct to ensure a comfortable travel environment for the majority.
Ryanair shared: “It is unacceptable that passengers suffer unnecessary disruption as a result of one unruly passenger’s behaviour. We welcome the conviction issued to this passenger by the Dublin District Court, which demonstrates just one of the many consequences that passengers who disrupt flights will face,.”
