The IATA World Data Symposium (WDS) 2026 will be held at the Shangri-La Singaporeon 8–9 April 2026. This second edition of the symposium focuses on the intersection of data, technology, and cybersecurity to drive transformative change in aviation.
The event focuses on data-driven efficiency, cybersecurity resilience, and AI/automation in aviation. The programme features high-level panels on digital transformation, open AI integration, and securing the digital flight path, alongside sessions on digital twins and cross-industry innovations.
Confirmed speakers include senior executives from IATA, Singapore Airlines, and various industry partners:
Willie Walsh, Kim Macaulay, Marie Owens Thomsen, Goh Choon Phong (CEO, Singapore Airlines), George Wang (SVP IT, Singapore Airlines), and executives from Malaysia Aviation Group, Thai Airways, Japan Airlines, and Copa Airlines.
Representatives from Changi Airport Group, Incheon International Airport, DHL, Netskope, Confluent, and Amadeus wil be speaking about technology.
A 2-day Aviation Cyber Security course will be held on 6–7 April. The event is expected to draw over 700 industry professionals to the Shangri-La Singapor
